Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Oxfordshire, have a new vacancy for a Civil Engineer with a strong background in the highways sector.
You should hold a relevant degree (Civil Engineering), whilst having also gained industry experience in a similar role – ideally a consultancy environment.
Mainly you will be working on residential development design work, including road and drainage design. Knowledge of street lighting design would be desirable.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of section agreements, particularly 104, 38 and 278.
The role will also involve liaising with clients and councils and being able to problem solve. The role will suit someone who is deadline driven and responds well to working under pressure.
