It's not about money anymore I am a skill worker but company expectations to skill working is high buy pay is not high. Have you heard of people selling houses driving porsche and selling cars include aircon but have you all seen those people repairing them or building them include cleaning them driving those. Or have a better lifestyle? Because telling a story only takes 3 mins, but writing and planning the story takes months and years. And we talk about reality. If that person has low or even low mid wages just enough to survive for himself, will you dare to allow your daughter to marry this guy. This is reality

  • @efaizariff3145

Pay them in SGD, the MY workers in SG will return home and work in JB. Easy.

  • @fuzagi

these companies might be looking to get a GM for RM5k/mth

  • @ahwongwk

its all about the pay.. with good pay you can get ppl.

  • @Slla-th5vt

What to do? Pay your workers more instead of always trying to find that skillful worker with family /personal problems who cannot shift to Singapore.

  • @joyboyboy5149

will always be a problem…once the fresh grads pick up some experience, they will work in SIN for higher pay..for all positions..will be a lose lose situation for Johor..1. Waste time grooming 2. Constantly looking and grooming fresh workers..never ending cycle..

  • @wowokingxoxo

there are 1 million skilled malaysian working in Singapore leading cause of border jams and over crowdedness . There is a shortage of workers in JB. There is a simple logical solution. Its the elephant in the room. Go figure.

  • @JT_YJ

im sure if you pay more, you can find someone. pls don't expect to pay peanut like RM2k and expect to find someone in msia

  • @aislt8786

If you pay Singaporean salary you will also be able get SG workers. The movement of workers can also happen the other way. Don't understand what the problem is..the solution is obvious.

While many employers complained about the lack of skilled employees, I instead complained about the lack of skilled employers. That is the root of the problem. IF we have skilled bosses, they will be able to solve the skilled worker problem within their companies. But what we have is a bunch of unskilled cry babies bosses complaining day in day out non-stop (how long have these ppl complained about lack of skilled worker already? Last 30 years since? IF they have spent that last 30 years doing something about their skilled worker issue, then they will not have this problem today. Gov importing 'skilled worker' for these cry babies is not helping the matter as it further encourage their parasitic reliance on 'foreign talent' neglecting developing their own in-house expertise aka plucking the low-hanging fruit)

This is what u get when u have politicians looking after their own interest. Spore thank you. U cant blame us when our grass here is so much greener…Those who choose to work in Spore are the envy of many Malaysian. Truth cant be hidden

  • @raymondwan-k4w

it takes alot of money, time, resources, education 2 train a competitent engineer…u can hv. modern sez infra-structures n hard facilities but no trained expertise 2 run them….failure n white elephant

  • @nicholastam6198

I don't understand, why company don't look within to groom and promote internal talent, instead to look for talent outside of the company? Firstly, external talent might not fit into the company working culture. Secondly, nowadays people just job hop around every 1.5 – 2 years to get their salary increase as they don't have intention to stay long.

  • @1changi

Do are recruitment drive in Selangor and Penang. How about going to Sarawak and Sabah to recruit?

  • @saisamsuri

If wages are competitive, Singaporeans will work in Malaysia

  • @jeffrybrojeffrybro5151

You pay peanuts but want a good skilled worker..Don't just keep blaming…Anyway it shows your skilled management not good..just want to make profit. Pls stop blaming or just pack and leave JB by all means.
    .Nobody stopping you,dude….

  • @reclusewanderer

Its not shortage of skilled workers
Its shortage of good pay to employees

  • @ahan300

People from other states willing to move to Johor if the salary is good despite Singapore rate is better but thats only about working (5 days).

How about weekend (living part) of Johior? It is kinda lame & boring..JB is really a low class city with not so beautiful landscape and attractions to do recreation, wellness activity to relief after working on weekdays. Prefer to work in Klang Valley or even Penang with better gardens, amenities, attractions…
The JB metro government should improve their cities lah. Dont just look at infrastructure like roads & buildings… look at your lousy museum, ugly landscape..

Sorry to say, no live work balance in Johor. See SG can create Jewel and Gardens by the bay…all artificials..but world class. JB? So pale in comparison.

  • @adrianwang2724

The island economy stagnancy will become obvious and become uncured, and become worse stage as someone likes to get into habit of take advantages of other people, doing cursing and end with other noises, pretending, as used to be cunning, he or she is not, when walk pass somebody’s house.
