All these foreign companies know this happens. They are indirectly involved. On paper, they claim to enforce factory and employee condition policies to show that they care and that these policies are implemented. In reality, they expect factories to produce cheaper and faster. They know very well that producing quality products at lower prices and shorter timelines is not possible under those same policies. When this contradiction is raised with foreign buyers, they threaten to move their business elsewhere. This practice is widespread, and I know it as a fact and how I know? I will leave to your imagination. 😅😅😅
We often buy things without thinking about where they come from or who is affected along the way. Most of us know this, and many of us don’t care and question it until it touches our own lives.
History shows that real change has never needed everyone to act, only a committed few percentage of people. If even 20% of people consistently worked for fairness, accountability, and the rights of others, the impact would be felt by everyone. Progress has always begun with those willing to care beyond theirs. That's a fact!
please get your size right
How do I buy clothes without contributing to textile factories who are making garments for the well known names. This is really hard to do and I’m not one who even likes to shop for clothes. I will say it is becoming much more challenging to find clothes that are primarily made from natural materials and that are made well. Most of what I see in retail stores is poorly constructed crap made from rayon, nylon, and other poly blends that will be destined for a landfill. Take Costco and Sam’s Club- very rarely will you find any clothing item in those places made from natural materials. And the items are commonly from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam.. where fast fashion and labor laws are ignored.
This is why I purchase pre loved and recycled clothing.
12. Circling india started with breaking srilanka but modi ran in to pull her up and put together 😂 vande matram
3. Scammed the foreign exchange 💱 under brentton Woods institutions 😂 vande matram.
What puzzles me is why we in NZ are in a hurry to be like this
Very sad this is still going on in 2025
Since I was a teen… I rarely buy new clothes!! Been going to used clothing stores for 30 years now! Try my best to not fall into this sad trap of new and trends. Unsafe working practices.
This isn’t a new thing. This has been happening for at least 30 years. I used to go to Dhaka with work and was told about this then
Jesus 😢
I like the sprinkler system and egress paths they have……
This might even be the best home he's taken to.
The most brands. In Sweden we have H&M who proudly says they do not use factories with working children but this is not enough .
Sadly it is all buyers of clothes, it is we, all of us, who likes to buy new clothes unnecessary often and cheap.
We have to make pressure at their governments to take care of their workers.
What brands are doing this so I can boycott
In Australia, we have to babysit the workers. Can we accept this has cause major issue. We're becoming a nanny state. Our productivity has dropped, and our manufacturing has gone overseas. And we sit in leisure complaining about other countries. Why worries about other countries, when we can't even look after ourselves!
This is heartwrenching. Terrible work conditions & even worse are their living conditions.
Omg 😱 this needs to stop..this is total abuse
This is where Albo's taking us!
Sad world we are living in.. just sad
Terrible 😮
Very sad, sooo unjustice for the poor, vulnerable,. And the richer is getting richer from the hard work and suffering that these poor people do. Wow. I wish a Divine Power would stop these injustices!!.
Working long hours in substandard conditions to live in poverty. It is abuse. They are not paid a fair wage while the rich get richer.
This is so sad! It reminds me of the Asian workers who work for Walmart and are forced to live there because it comes out of their paychecks everyday. I just want to tell them how much Jesus loves them and there’s more to this horrific existence. We are only passing through this world to go home to be with our Savior Jesus Christ where there’s no more suffering or pain or sickness. God bless them!
