it petty terrible tht govt keep allow cheap labour to come in… it dont do gd for local

  • @chaz4609

Jai Hinduja. There are still Ah Peks begging at MRT stations. Many hidden underemployment can be seen in the vast increase of PMETs working as Grab deliverymen or cabby drivers. Why not start with employing more unemployed older Singaporeans rather than sourcing talents from new sources? Rather than MOM using Singaporean to Foreign talents ratio, another ratio suggestion for foreign talents recruitment could be Singaporean Middle Age 45 years+ to Foreigner ratio.

  • @Lycan39

Hiring foreign expertise manpower for F&B is okay, since local talents are not suitable…so decades of skills training result in inability to meet market needs. 🫰💗😘

Singapore, an isle country of 3.4 mil population in need of 2.0 mil foreign manpower.

Have had always been this way ~ why Sg Gov say they care for the people. Sg Gov care for the biz $$$. These SMEs wants cheap labour to offset high cost of operation amounting from super expensive rentals from cooperatives of shopping malls.

routers and devices cost money so des medicare and insurance.

  • @93hothead

They really need to underpay foreign labor just to cut cost? How underhanded are these business managers

  • @kengleetan63

Locals finished. Even food delivery those from Malaysia are swarming over to do!
Imagine, ride in and ride back earn 3 times and more per day! Locals finished liao!

  • @mrtienphysics666

Cheap manpower from Third World means the wage locally can be pressed down. Either way, capitalist profits will rise. The rich gets richer, the poor poorer.

  • @Semper_Iratus

They are looking foward to cheaper labor they can abuse.

  • @ks--2755

Good luck singaporeans lay flat is still the best of all

  • @anglo-saxonconnor817

You have a structural problem if you are so reliant on foreign labour to keep your business that you can't survive without them at all. Frankly these firms deserve to fold up and collapse.
