This is a sweet and slightly comical “Contract Marriage” production with decent actors and an entertaining storyline even if it’s pretty much the usual tropes. I liked this strong/sometimes hot-headed/protective FL and somewhat narcissistic/nice ML. Despite some major editing errors (especially around 40 minutes in) making it messy, this is actually worth watching.

SYNOPSIS – SPOILER ALERT!!!

FL was involved with a man from the upper class. Unfortunately he fell into a coma due to a car accident. Faced with the possibility of having no descendants/heirs, his mother persuaded FL into having his child and then leaving the child to his family. But FL was accidentally inseminated with the wrong sperm due to a mixup – between two recipients – by the staff. Thus pregnant with the wrong man and not knowing it, FL gave birth to a girl. But when his mother arrived with the results of a DNA-test, FL and her newborn were thrown out of the house. FL decided to raise her child alone no matter who the father might be.

5 years later, FL and her daughter return from abroad. When FL enters a company to do an interview, a CEO (ML) and a woman (2FL) – who is actually the other recipient on the day of the mixup – wait for the same elevator. The little girl waiting for her mother actually caught the CEO’s attention but then the woman annoys him by mentioning the child she lost and the fact that his grandmother wants them to set a wedding date.

When ML and FL are alone in the elevator, misunderstanding the conversation she overheard, FL calls him a scumbag for not being empathetic to pregnant women. The two of them get into a heated verbal fight and FL ends up kicking ML in his private parts – and takes off. But this ML isn’t going to let her off the hook for that action, so on the first day of her employment, he calls her to his office. While she waits, she witnesses 2FL put a coffee cup on the table and tell someone on the phone about her succeeding this time. So, when he arrives and throws out 2FL, FL tells him not to drink it. But the two of them get affected by the aphrodisiac in the cup and end up having sex on his couch. When his grandmother accidentally walks in on them still partly undressed, she demands that he marries her. So, ML offers FL a contract marriage, thus starting their entanglement but also makes FL a target for 2FL, who isn’t prone to let her “prey”/ML slip away that easily.

Well, not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending.
