Does it involve heavy math problems?

  • @MaskedMan-d2u

Maybe being an accountant will not garantee you to become filthy rich but it'll sure garantee a job, also you'll have more understanding about business to potentially start your own later on.

Finance has the highest earning potential, but also way more competitive

  • @madelineortiz6648

I love listening to my post-cast when working , work from home half of the week and doing repetitive tasks that doesn’t have do dealing with a lot of people. When I finish my job I still have energy for family and other activities , except in closing week

  • @darylhopkins9796

I feel that every business needs a finance guy. Finance would be a great major.

  • @rhuttner12

Economics is great, but you will deal with just as much numbers, and also, if you want a high paying job, you will need a masters. In most cases, you get more bang for your buck out of an Accounting Degree than an Economics degree.

Repent of your sins and turn to Jesus Christ for he died for all of us while we were still sinners. He is coming back soon.

  • @joro7304

Doesn't matter if you have a degree in accounting, finance, or economics, get some work experience under your belt while you're at college. Without any experience , it's almost impossible to find a job in today's shitty job market.

  • @zzxxzzz33683

can you tell if business analytics is better or accounting and finance?

  • @Lifeafter40

Accounting is not boring if you become a CPA.

  • @gsch1818

pretty much every major translates poorly into the workplace; accounting on the other hand…

  • @XYZOxyz

lol Lies. I'm a CPA who's been unemployed for 2 years

  • @onedev-tx3ub

I love staring at spreadsheets and numbers
I know what I'm gonna do now

  • @skk175

Accounting is not a Guarantee Business major . Is better to study Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and Actuarial Science .

  • @sks1795

I love my degree and i contiuously struggle to find the boredom. Work is work, and compared to every other job ive ever had, accounting is fire

  • @thelargebigjesse

I fell for this meme bro accounting is dreadful out of college

  • @aaronquadd3019

I'm split on this topic. I think college bombards you with a lot of nonsense fees as well as useless courses.

Also many people are sold the lie that if you get a degree (any degree) then you will make money. Also, most people don't know how to leverage themselves so they never work through college to focus on academia so they can't get a job when the finish because they lack work experience.
While some may spend too much time working, be it a regular job, a co-op, or internship and are discouraged that they didn't finish on time and have a hard time finding a job.

What I tell young people is this: Study something lucrative (STEM, finance/accounting/econ/MIS, or law) and work one or two internships. Try to graduate as quickly as possible with the best grades as possible so take 15-18 hours each semester. If you can maintain a B-B+ average then your chances of making $70,000+ out of college increases dramatically.

If you want to study something interesting like arts, history, social sciences then do that in your free time, as an elective, or after college.

I was in college for 6 years and I do not think it was "worth it," and there were better ways to get to where I am now but it has helped me get to where I am.

  • @aaronquadd3019

Accounting, Finance, MIS, and maybe Economics are the best business majors.

This is coming from a mangement major.

  • @vvvw720

Business management or accounting… Which one should I choose to study?

  • @jaybee2869

For me it’s being on a damn chair all day long, I take frequent breaks and walk and stretch but isn’t enough

  • @brandywales8200

Economics is not a business major it is a social study

  • @CoffeeMilky-n5r

Can u recommend me something with less maths please 😢😢.accounting is so stressful to me 💔

  • @beastking0355

Good video! I went to school for economics and currently work as an accounting analyst. If you’re unsure of where to go for college, just go for accounting. Most businesses prefer accountants over finance and Econ degrees simply because accountants deal with what happened to money directly while finance and Econ deals what they should do with their money. Confirming payments takes priority over projections. As an accountant, you’ll be doing plenty of pivot tables and projections regardless. All 3 majors can do what the others do, but accountants just make things easier for talent acquisition so I would just stick with an accounting degree. However, if you’re really motivated and good with networking, then the degree won’t even matter
