I'm usually not the one for DIYs but this one uses already tested and formulated products, you're just mixing them more like layering actives. And it works🙌🏼🙌🏼
Apply the treatment to the affected areas, allowing it to absorb into the skin. Follow up with sunscreen for protection. Conduct a patch test before use and consult a dermatologist if needed.
The ingredients and the product recommendations are spot on for hyperpigmentation! I use peace out dark spot serum (recommended by dr shireen idriss on youtube) and that does have some of these ingredients all mixed together and has faded a lot of my hyperpigmentation. The trick is to start slow and test each ingredient on its own first to see if your skin can tolerate it, if going with single ingredient products. And instead of using the products together, you can spread out over the week. For eg: don’t use it on the night you are exfoliating with aha/bha’s. And chose two or three ingredients that go along with each other (that don’t cause irritation) and layer them on days you are not exfoliating. If anyone needs more information dr shireen idriss, dr dray, dr sam ellis on youtube have a lot of videos on hyperpigmentation. The ingredients they mention for hyperpigmentation are very much consistent with what this video mentions. Fading hyperpigmentation is all about a multi ingredient story (quoting dr idriss) which is what the above video shows. So perhaps if this person’s personal experience doesn’t sit well with you let it fly and take it with a grain of salt instead of being unkind and commenting harshly who is just sharing what works for them. You do you girl! And thank you for the product recommendations! So helpful 💗
I think derms do recommend using multiple tyrosinase inhibitors, such as the ones that you recommended however they must be formulated at the right dosage and concentrations safe for the skin. I think it’s better to buy creams or serums formulated with multiple pigment targeting ingredients, for example the viral faded topicals cream! This cream is probably cheaper, than buying all the ingredients individually as well.
Please don't listen to anyone who is not a certified dermatologist. Anything and everything you apply in your skin can have irritation and breakout if you do not apply it as per the description. If you need to use multiple ingredients for different skin concerns please look for a moisturizer or serum that have thiscombined ingredients which are much more safer to use.
Dont mixit all up bcz it could be quite irritating for sensitive skin people.. u could rather try a brand which combines most of the ingredients like dermaco
Most of us have been to Dermatologists in our lives and They NEVER SUGGESTS THIS. Layering a product is fine if the previous ingredient absorbs into your skin, wait for 5 minutes and then apply another. But MIXING, oh my, that too on Your palms. Do you even know that we should never rub some ingredients on our palms… This would cause some skin to break out so badly , especially those who have Sensitive skin… Go slow with your skin, not many Ingredients at the same time…
