Thanks Nik. My compliments on your always perfectly ironed shirts. 👔
Thanks for the great content. I have been selling digital products on Etsy for 14 years. The last couple of years I've neglected my shop and got down to 2 sales a week. Yikes! But with your no BS advice I have a new found love and energy for my little corner of Etsy and I am enjoying methodically refreshing or everything and adding new listings – with a plan and purpose this time. Thanks again!
Can you show us examples please.
Hi Nik – I've been putting my section and store links at the bottom of my description. Moving forward, I will put them above the bulleted details. I also need to streamline my infographic (and reduce the text tax). Thanks for the info.
I put everything important at the top in bullet points. Usually three. Brief shop policies underneath. I stay pretty minimalist. Same with photos. I sell mugs, so I don’t really feel people need 20 photos of what a mug looks like. 🤣 Main image is a closeup, second shows that it’s printed on both sides, third shows personalization options, fourth shows color options. That’s it. I can understand more images for clothing and other more complex products, but not for mugs.
Am guilty of waffling on 😂. Thank goodness for bulk editing 👍
So I should put section link as high as possible in my listings for people actually to notice that? Because now they are at the bottom 😞
I just checked my infographic that I add to all my digital listings and its 24 words. It describes the download process and offers free downloads if they sign up for my email list. The only other infographic I add is info about bundled listing sets (which Etsy does not show to people on the app like they can see on the website) and adding that has skyrocketed my sales. Most people do buy the bundle, and most of my purchases are coming from the app now.
on average about 280 words. Do infographics make sense for physical products? If so, what should be included? The product informations are in the description.
I thought it was about the new message etsy sent about the 20% VAT etsy has to pay (but we are the ones paying) for the fees it's taking. They said it will start form 11/6. Hhh I've been waiting days for this video 😅
