Nurses here are overworked, underpaid and under appreciated. Most migrated overseas where the patient ratio is lower with higher wages. Somehow people shunned the profession yet always need them for the smallest of things. Organisations are so picky in hiring people even though they are qualified. During this pandemic it comes back full circle ain't it?

just when we see improvement in the local community spread , the authorities are rushing to open up the vtl lanes with highly infectious countries, putting further strain on the already wearing thin health workers who are looking to a proper rest and family time with love ones . be realistic , they are not going to be motivated with some silly hashtags and some song to recognise their contribution, what they really wanted is for the ministry to sack the HR dept and to solve the mass exodus issues and to quickly fill up the vacated positions before they have to camp out in the hospital again when infections rises again during winter!

Of course pinoy nurses wants to go to NZ or Canada so that they can bring the husband and their children..in Singapore cannot lah

  • @rnegoro1

Most likely – they don't get paid for overtime.

Give you some advise with more than 30 years of operations, mgmt and crisis mgmt experiences.

    1) Organization's BAU services KPI should not be change. Unless you have spare resources.

    2) Designate Covid-19 patients only hospital : 2 for a start or care homes : 2 for a start, is enough and consolidate related resources with the needed skill. ( Isn't this part of National services. ).

All hospitals should break resources into 3 team with all skills. Shift rooster have to be strictly follow – all human need sleep and rest. No overtime is allow. And a Relief team with all skills for emergency stand-in.

    3) After the 85% vaxxed population. If public can walk without PPE. PPE should only be for Covid-19 caregivers. Reduce wastage and struggle to be in PPE for long hours.

Social distancing should be at least 2M. And mask-on in all public space.

Remember the recent bus-interchange cluster. Drivers relief certainly had imparted the bus operations public services. What have they done to close the cluster. And prevent the spread to other interchange.

An organizations is not design base on worst case baseline. Now is a good time to re-design.

It's wise to leave for self preservation.

  • @JTRAVEL4K

Increase the Salary and Bonus of all nurses and related to healthcare.

    Promote more mental health support.
More sponsorship study and also granting PR with there family when foreign nurse apply so they would not migrate else where and further decline nurse population. So we can have still have more nurses complementing local nurses population.

  • @WhatEver-wj5yz

All bullshit. I have been infected with Covid-19 and I can recover in 10 days without the help of a doctor. I only take febrifuge and drink ginger water. There is no need to exaggerate and there is no need to be afraid of this virus. Quit the disease business.

  • @CodeStock

sure has nothing to do with vaxx mandates?! if you coerce people into medical experiment ofc there are going to be people whom do not want the side effects… ask your gov why aren't they introduce already effective alternatives like in Europe or USA?! its like they are corrupted and took money from Pfizer 😉😉

  • @cheesification

lol.. high risk, high OT, low pay. doctors and gov not appreciating nurses. all because of shitty gov policies

  • @kaiyin3842

Good, hope they train the new nurses to be better towards patients and treat them with dignity and compassion not rude and heartless.

  • @acer950

Perhaps we should get the MMTF Pap ministers to try serving as nurses, to lead by example

  • @acer950

And the govt still wants to import more tourists at this time?

  • @acer950

You get a toxic mix, by linking the rich and politically affluent together

Say no to this Umbrella Corporation's vaccine

  • @ben8457

Good nurse are moving to other richest tension free countries 🥰🥰🥰🥰

  • @muhammadfahmi7159
