I think a "Napoleon's Generals" video would be awesome. It would be amazing to see how you guys review well known generals like Eugene and Lasalle.

  • @truba1900

Mcdonald’s higher than Murat? This must be joke.

  • @dakapo8985

Imagine writing to a widow and the children that their loss of a father and husband doesn't come close to your loss of an employee. Napoleon could be an a-hole.

  • @WorldHistorySaga

Man I've watched this video dozens of times and I still haven't gotten tired

  • @gen.tucker6024

Oudinot's first wound was to his head? No wonder he had the least brains then

  • @scottjuhnke6825

Macdonald was not sent to advise Eugene in 1809. See Prince Eugene at War, 1809. Eastern. Empire Press.
Eastern thoroughly debunks this anti-Eugene nonsense.

Just started watching, and it looks like a really good production, Looking forward to the rest. Thumbs up.

  • @juliandeblock

The fact that we can see this for free should be rewarded.

  • @markpiper6382

Ney, Suchet, Davout, Lannes, Macdonald are my favorites. In no particular order.

  • @marshallgray645

Amazing writing and narrating. Top notch content I root for your success

  • @TomOostenrijk

Suchet and Massena are done dirty. No way Ney is ahead of them. Davout, Lannes, Massena, Suchet, Berthier. My top 5

  • @Johnnybomb1

This is epic! On a side note, for all his shortcomings, Marshall Ney was am absolute Badass Chad!

  • @evaone06

Wow i'm French and thank god i skiped that part , i would never pass 25 years.

  • @MrMnorfolk

The comments by Napoleon you've added at the introduction of every Marshall reminds me of reading a teacher's report about a student… I might have to replicate.

  • @peterpim6260

Great ,detailed work done. To put Marshall Davout first place, I think is right, for it was the only marshall who made Napoleon jealous. Of Course Nap never admitted it, but I trust he never forgave him Auerstedt.

  • @oliverk7244

Whilst I understand that Józef Antoni Poniatowski did not fight for Napoleon for that long compared, especially with the title of Marshal, compared to his other Marshals, you can argue a case for his military genius and personality putting him far far above the majority of them, save for Suchet, Ney, and Davout. His absolute dedication and military successes allowed Napoleon peace of mind to focus on other things. Napoleon's failure in Russia would have been averted if he had listened to Poniatowski's advice. Even in his short time under Napoleon, Poniatowski was an absolute game changer for him.

  • @michaelr3583

Davout is overated. He is top 5, but no higher

  • @amorosorichard2252

I'm from 🇵🇭. I'm a huge fan of your channel. Can you please make also a series about the coalition, and asian/🇵🇭war? 🙏

  • @generalsandnapoleon

3 hours and 23,000 words of awesomeness! Great work, Epic History team.

  • @mojojojoslyfoxharris

See this here Ridley Scott, this goes to show how much you clearly didn't heed the history of Napoleon.

You didn't do Napoleon himself justice, you didn't do military history justice, and in this case, you didn't highlight the greatness of any of Napoleon's Marshalls that were the "backbone" of his military success!

Unless you knew your history, you had no clue who the other generals were alongside Napoleon during the movie!

  • @Robert-up6ht

They are all badass mighty men in my opinion
