Patrick ta duos r suddle n not worth the money
This year has been a year of few new additions to my collection and that's a trend I hope to continue into 2025. I'm happy with what I already have.
I hate the Ilia packaging..for me Tarte is at least a bit more festive..the Ilia is bland ..I tried Ilia skin Serum …made me look very greasy. Personal preference.. 😅😅😅😅😅
Ok…Ilia, two words: Try it! I was a non-believer until I tried the foundation just to please the lady assisting me and OMG, it’s been a full-blown love affair with Ilia. I got the palette and LOVE all the shades, also love the skincare, the lips, all of it! By the way, I use it with the Mario setting spray and it’s perfection!
Regretted not getting them first time around… had one but was too bright and then they were gone. Bought the Smokey Quartz it's beautiful…subtle or spicy. (then i bought the purple one that's really pink) but CT packaging is beautiful, it's awesome quality and stays on incredibly long …good to travel so I hear what you say about the 2 in one Patrick Ta which to me is the same set up as the 2 for duo in cute packaging and similar concept tho Patrick Ta is square vs round. Did nobody think that was a high price rip off of an original design by Paco Rabanne. Agree on the Star… probably awesome but not into palettes hard to store LOL. Great reviews, thank you.
I think if people want to spend $42 on PT shadows and can afford it then buy it. I love your channel but you are biased re: Charlotte and its ok!!!😂😂
I totally undertand why some people do not want to purchase the PT duos and it is definitely a huge splurge when a lot of us are struggling. With that being said I ended up buying 2 of the duos off of Patrick's site for a 15% discount. I purchased "still at the club" and "do you know who i am". I don't have anything quite like this formula and i have tried a lot of indie and luxury formulas. I've been obsessed with Still at the club and have been wearing it everyday.
The taupe eye liner in the ND baby INAN kit seems to be limited edition, as it is not listed as as something that can be purchased separately on her web site. Too bad, it’s a nice shade.
The new Tarte blushes are catching my eye. Even in that gold packaging 😆
I broke down and bought the pink PT duo during the VIB sale. They're definitely not the best quality or sparkliest shadows I have, but they're pretty and I will wear them. Not worth the hype, though, I think. And they better not grow mold!

At first I also thought $42 was steep but I then saw some of the educational videos from the Lipstick Lesbians explaining the formula and even Patrick Ta made some comparisons himself. There several products that are even more expensive when compared to this, I believe in giving brands a chance and at least trying the product before judging. I bought “We Need Better Lightning” during the sale ( 20% off) @ Sephora and absolutely love it! The sparkle is like no other and you can definitely tell the quality!

You might want to reconsider the Too Faced singles particularly the one called magic sprinkles. Omg it’s my favorite topper and I always get compliments every time I wear them. Mind you my friends are used to seeing me on sparkly shadows all the time but when I wear this they always say they love the look. I also purchased the Patrick TA duo and talk to my team and it’s not that impressive. It’s pretty but just ok.

I bought the patrick ta and felt they were absolutely worth it. I dont know how you recommended charlotte tilbury for 30 but then complain about 42 for patrick ta. Charlotte sold a 12 pan for $75 for years and then comes out with one eyeshadow for $30. Patrick ta did similar and has more product in his pans than charlottes shadow.
It comes off insincere and hypocritical for you to have hyped up charlotte and then to speak down on patrick ta and not even have gotten the chance to swatch or see them on the eye to see and feel the difference because there is one. Probably not on younger eyelids, but on older eyelids like mine it was very clear the fact that patricks at the club was higher quality and better on the eyes than charlotte smokey quartz.
Normally I love to see and hear your reviews but idk that part about patrick ta came off poorly for me.

I initially thought the pricing of the Patrick TA duos were outrageous and definitely a no buy. Then he sent an email about discounts through a bundle option on his website which brought them down to 3 for $35 each. I caved and bought them. 🤦🏽♀️ I don’t regret it tho!

I always look at the Too Faced and Tarte holiday kits for Christmas gifts for my nieces but I’ve tried so many over the years and have been so disappointed. I looked at them in store and skipped them all. The value for the 3 palette’s is a joke, I didn’t even see that when I was looking.
I was pumped for the Urban Decay Star Moondust palette. I love Space Cowboy and some of the other shades. I bought it and wow what I was thinking lol 😂 it’s not great at all and the price is ridiculous. I ended up returning it because I didn’t see any friends or family members that would want it. I went with the ABH Sugar palette. Oh NARS and their holiday face palettes. Yes, great they released two different shade variations but they always look the same! I skipped it.

Too Faced always do gimmicky kid like holiday releases that are never worth it. I actually quite like charlotte tilbury palette, but compared to all the other palette releases it is probably the worst

Pat McGrath is how I feel about too faced color stories. I have the appley in love and it’s gorgeous …. But PM has done the same shades or tones of shades and that’s fine if it’s someone’s cup of tea but at a higher cost for repetitive palettes.
I really like the Charlotte Tilbury palette, but I haven't tried any of her others. I also am LOVING the Anastasia Spice palette!😍 Great video, Patty, and you look beautiful as always!😊
Many of us had mold issues with PTs second palette (way under time frame, well stored makeup)…so it’s a no from me forever until he publicly addresses this and how we can know it won’t happen again and also refunds I mean even Jaclyn Hill refunded people for hairy lipstick!
