I am a graduate of UiTM by circumstance. UiTM is relatively a good place to have an education. But, it don't matter which university you enrol in. Its what you do with the university education after graduation that matters. We have many graduates from prestigious universities like that grad from University of Nottingham who went to sit in the highest office in the land and now infamous for the biggest known kleptocracy act in the world. Pity his father. And a grad from Wharton Schiool at Uni. of Pennsylvania is his biggest accomplice. Next , a common story among the senior generation employers is that grads from ITM (former name of UIiTM) mostly had to prove they were as good or better than university grads. But many grads from UiTM seems to have self-entitlement attitudes so much so that employers prefer the polytechnic degree grads to employ. Me think the poly grads have the same attitudes as ITM grads. Lastly, if you choose UiTM because your parents want the univ. lowest fees in Malaysia despite coming from a T20 or upper M40 background, me guess that is a sign of self-entitlement in its worst form. But if it is not the reason, please return the favour by helping UiTM as an alumni moneywise or any which useful way. Sekian.

But not when they're from t20 group because UiTM was made for those with financial problems i believe. Macam u la danish, based on your postings on Insta it is so obvious that your family can afford to go to other public uni or even private uni but why did you choose to take the offer?? Salam, bang nak tanya pasal yuran hostel/kolej dia tu macam mne kena bayar utk satu sem brapa? Dan adakah masuk uitm boleh stay dekat sana sampai habis degree?

kalau kita warganegara tapi parents kita bukan warganegara boleh ke apply uitm
Tapi lain kot standard Taylor dengan UiTM. Kat situ exposure kepada foreigner dan bangsa lain lebih meluas, hence boleh membentuk pola pemikiran kita, yang membantu untuk hadapi alam perkerjaan nanti. Plus, cost bukan issue sebenarnya, Taylor ni antara Universiti yang MARA senaraikan yang boleh buat study loan. Ape lebihnya? MARA loan punya giler, ko janji grad je konfem diskaun 75%, hanya bayar suku sahaja, dah sama macam kos IPTA jadinya, tapi belajar kat universiti yang lebih bagus infrastrukturnya, dengan exposure yang ada value added untuk alam perkerjaan. Aku pun baru tahu, kalau tahu aku masuk uni swasta je since beginning.
Uitm – universiti taik melayu
Mmg betul yg murah tu, sy punya diploma dulu RM450 je satu sem which is 450×5= around 2k lebih je utk 3tahun diploma. Sedangkan kalau kau masuk Taylor 3 years tu kau perlu bayar around 37k bhaiii. 37k tu kalau kt UITM kau boleh belajar smpai Phd siap ada baki lagi hahaha
2011 pernah dapat offer uitm jengka pahang tapi tak pergi sebab tak minat cos yang dia offer. Endup join private collge. If i can turn bck time memang nak masuk uitm je.
Saya nak tanya, wajib ke ambil muet kalau tak nak smbung degree lepas diploma? Dan boleh konvo ke lepas diploma kalau tak ambil muet?
selain daripada uitm ada tak universiti lain yang khas untuk bumiputera ?
