Currently studying Marketing, innovation and leadership. Im in my second month and im bored as hell. The idea about working with marketing seems great. I just cant find the joy to continue or express my creative side. The content i learn each lecture seems useless and doesnt interest me. I also have moved away from many of my friends to choose a «good» school for my future. I dont have a future plan. Marketing was the best alternative i had. Ive been telling myself everyday «it will be better if i try more» exams are in under 2 months and i dont know if i should drop out or continue.

My brother finished his B of commerce from one of the top universities, with double major in finance and marketing. He is very interested in marketing and had no interest in finance. He chose finance coz it looked good on paper and that was expectations of the family but he regretted his finance major despite it is profoundly less competitive than marketing at entry level. He struggled to find junior level job in marketing with decent pay. He said he can only do, study and work in an area of interest and that is NOT finance. I admire him for that though, many would have probably pivoted to finance but he is passionate and determined to be on the path he wants to do. Marketing is very tough at entry level, but demand is high for experienced marketing managers.
