Diploma Animasi 3D
#Animation #Easier #Animation
I think I have a talent in drawing. I started self-studying and learning how to draw with the help of internet in covid period. I always love drawing and creating fantasy characters. I am patient and can focus on detailing. I also draw portraits and started accepting commission work after 2 months of learning. But lately I am getting too much interested in drawing through computer or tablets. Also I am planning to study in the US. Can anyone suggest me which art career in US can help artists free from financial issue? Because I feel like as someone who was not borne in US, choosing art career could be quite challenging and risky due to low on job opportunities and if I happened to choose art, should I choose animation, motion art, concept arts, or illustration?
This is my just ugly animations but I’m learning 2d so 2d is better to me
Nowadays.. both complement each other if u ask me.
Having done both 3D is more of a nuisance to me.
2D- Time Consuming and requires Artistic Touch
3D- More TECHNICALLY difficult
I wish 3D animation wasn't called 3D since it's in 2D just as 2D animation is. Why don't they just stick to CGI animation? Makes more sense.
Difficulty is irrelevant. 2D animation produces better results. End of.
i miss Disney's 2nd animation. I don't know I think the 2nd animation is more fun and cool. You can erase the mistakes. then 3rd
2d vs 3d
Blender: why not both?
3d animation is based on rigging so it's easier to manipulate than 2d but if your using vectors or 2d rigging then they're both the same just time consuming
Your so cool
better call saul talk?
3d is more easier
5:09 what show is this one 😮 never heard about it.
I want to try animating overall but I am struggling with 2d animation but I want to try 3D but I need to keep trying.
Imagine doing 1D animation
❤
2d is hard bc you have to make the frames perfectly match and 3d is maybe budget for quality and rendering and shading ig
I choice spiderman across spider verse
2D is obviously easier as there are less planes to think about
Guys, can some one help me to find right choice? I like 3d modeling and sculpting but also like to animate. I like to do detailed work, so what should i take animation or game design?
Me coming to see if 3d or 2d better but realize it’s a whole video it’s yes or no ahhhhhh
2D is better.
2.5D: allow me to introduce myself
Anyone who says 3D is harder is being so disingenuous.
Can someone tell me all tools
I wanna use

Cocomelon and other kid's animation makes 3D look cheap and easy to make , but after looking at the 3D animation from Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft and LOL cinematics you can literally feel the complexity and the expensiveness.😅
not very likely, I'll take my chances with 2d any day.
Both are very hard, depending on the level of skill you have. As an animator myself, this depends on certain people.
In few months to come 2D will be a part of History 😅
Ima pick 64d
I haven't seen the video but just by seeing that the cost of 3D animation is much cheaper than 2D animation it is evident that it is easier
I am currently teaching myself how to animate 2D animation and I feel like 2D is more of a time consuming skill but 3D is just hard to understand, I still am terrible at animation but I hope I can get better and learn more
If we are going on Animation alone for someone who have the basic free use tools and a common gaming computer setup. (for 2D a drawing tablet on the cheeper end)
I would argue that 3D is easier and more apealing for a beginner. First off there's easier and free acsess to Blender that's an amasing program to make alot of animations in and youtube tutorials everywhere. you can even get a already rigged model to just dive directly into learning the ropes of animation and laiter. But its also alot of tecnical terms and buttons to learn.
while 2D animation is a bit of a jungle.
first off theres alot of diffrent programs for 2D art, and mostly it's better to buy a program or (hate adobe really) pay for subscription for whats formaly known as flash. And even if you do pen and paper i would argue that 2D is more expensive to get into both digital or pen and paper, as well as all mention. time consuming since you need to redo the piece over and over again.
even with all that it's mostly up to the person animating. For me 2D is easier then 3D.
But also 2D have such a magical flare and type of feeling to it that 3D never can remake.
As both a 2D and 3D animator. Both are difficult but for entirely different reasons. 2D is a lot faster at least if you’re going from scratch. The biggest difference is perspective but it’s not a hard topic to grasp. Anyone saying one or the other is harder or faster probably just hasn’t put time into truly learning both.
-An art and design student specializing in 2D/3D character animation.
3D animation is basically similar to making stop motion animation in 3D software…It's insanely hard work of course.
2d better 🙂👍
2d is more easy but is more time consuming
3D animation is harder. The reason most films use 3D nowadays isn't because of ease but because it's harder for 3D animators to unionize.
For me its 2d animation
I can tell you, I’m not the greatest artist in general, but I can’t draw for shit, but I’ve already completed a few paid projects on blender and I’m quite decent. Something I never expected knowing that I wasn’t so good at drawing. Point being, if you wanna try art again but are bad at drawing, give blender a try. The workflow in 3d space might flow better with you than 2d
Imagine telling all this to a Pixar worker right before Toy Story’s release
The real answer is puppet which essentially give the benefits of both
