That kickback can be dangerous. If you ever reach saturation of a inductor. Dont touch it.

  • @wavescomplete5085

THIS WILL CAUSE THE BATTERY TO EXPLODE! WRONG INDUCTOR CONNECTION: YOU ARE ENDANGERING INEXPERIENCED PEOPLE.

  • @robert4598

the magnetic field points to the wrong direction. the electrons flow against it

  • @OTonn97

A battery gives pure DC input signal so the inductor will just act as a short circuit in this case.
Inductor can store energy only if AC current is given, or if you repeatedly switch on and off the switch

  • @Exub3rent

"A lot of energy is also get stored"

  • @swedishpsychopath8795

How can the field be stronger in the coil when the fields around the cables are working against each other where 2 cables is next to each other in the coil. The innermost field should be weak while the outer field probably is stronger?

  • @operationoverloard

If, as per your animation, current flows from the negative polarity toward the positive polarity, why do d.c. car batteries (among many other heavy duty d.c. electrial devices) have bigger positive terminals & cables, and the negative a.k.a. ground wire is smaller?

  • @Dr_Wilson_m8

That magnetic field was in the wrong direction

  • @SttmpJohnson

“More stronger”, really? Doesn’t anybody study grammar anymore?

  • @olivierbertier5299

The animation is wrong. Electrons do flow from – to + indeed, but the direction of the current is the opposite! If you do the right hand rule you follow the direction of the current with your bended fingers and your thumb shows where the northpole side is, field lines need to be directed the other way around here

  • @BierDaley

This video doesn't mention that opening the circuit will cause a voltage spike since you're using an inductor but other than that it's a good illustration

  • @Import.24

So the coil acts like a condensator?

  • @My_Cents

That means strength of Mag Feild depends on number of Coil winding, but is there any limit ❓️

  • @kishlaykumar6649

This is known as "decay of current."
When inductor releases its potential energy (1/2Li^2) in form of current stored from the prior circuit.
The current decay is calculated from the formula I = ie^-t/(L/R).

  • @LoLoad3939

how come you would use an inductor instead of a capacitor?

  • @nesensp

    That would be a capacitor

  • @inhibited44

Pretty sure only a changing current, AC , will generate magnetic field in a straight wire. Affects of a coil will generate a magnetic field DC or AC current.

  • @AS-wi6hr

@0:07 I guess the direction of the red arrows are wrong (Ampere's Law [right hand])

  • @Pableras46

on the wall, there is no current flowing

  • @Rahul-p1u1q

Please tell me how to make Animation like this Bro

  • @noelradhakrishnan4423

Please make an explanation of the magnetic field of solenoid as the case of special relativity of electric field caused my the length contraction of electrons
