and here I am with a BA and a graduate degree in Finance and Information Secuity and still cant make more than 60k a year.

  • @FlavorChefGenetics

Honestly they want people with no degree cuz they can pay whatever they want

  • @Observeruniverse

Because she is a woman, probably, and got lucky (not hating, just explaining), I've seen this in a company where I used to work. If you are male, you need at least four years of experience and a curriculum vitae that's nearly three pages long. Meanwhile, my old boss would hide any woman who could barely read.

I’ve graduated with chemical laboratories technology degree 3 years ago but I can’t take my certification from the college due to the conflict going in my country, now I’m jobless for 2 years… but I have a simple knowledge of computer skills and basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, C, C++, Java, Java script & sort of HTML… I have a good access to the internet So Is there a way to get a job?

  • @PUN15H3R_OG

If your good at something nothing changes

  • @incomeGlitch

Not everybody gets lucky like this. Stop pushing this bs. You need a degree or a cert or something.

  • @dtobbyamusan

I have never heard the phrase “ degree free”

  • @zset123

These snowflakes think they represent 99% of the workforce

  • @casojidesigns327

I still believe that education is gold. Your teachers Can become your mentors and it’s good to feel that you have accomplished something as well. The problem these days are that we don’t have enough – teachers teaching excellence, character building and self development. ❤

  • @rohanrafi9909

Let's be real here: These days are long gone, like overnight gone

  • @unclebuckshot8996

Companies ask for the moon because HR has to, rarely do they get it
    They hire the best candidates

  • @timd6303

“You’re going to get called back more than your
realize” … sure, and offered less than someone with a degree.

  • @azcatlm7175

Having an academic degree allows you to have a holistic view of the xosasz We are in a time when any idiot thinks he is prepared because he has a lot of experience in a tool, but that bubble is going to burst.

  • @JJ-rp2df

Crazy how employers insist on qualified and educated applicants

  • @MrSchanoq

We're goinng through a new era. Things have changed much in the last 20 years

  • @BryanRutkowski-n4w

I have no degree. Worked my way up moving companies. I am now senior level management in manufacturing. To all gen z crying right now. I worked off shifts for 7 years, took notes and studied on my own on how to run a facility. The jobs are here. You kids are just to wanting things instantly. Very disgusting all your parents didnt teach you what hard work and sacririce is. College degree just shows you learned how to get a degree.

  • @luisdetomaso867

88% of millionaires have a college degree. So, best of luck to the "degree free" crowd…

  • @padrote2865

Why on earth would you post this? What’s wrong with you?😅

  • @scifyry

I don't doubt she's likely qualified, but playing a flirty redhead in an interview can get some points for sure.

  • @linamarie84

A lot of these companies nowadays are requiring crazy requirements even for a delivery drivers it's nuts. Well at the same time there are so many people who just don't apply to jobs they don't think they can get due to the lack of a few skill sets that they could easily learn on the job.. I see people on here saying it's who you know but that's not always the case. I've witnessed many times people who have just taken the chance and applied and were hired.

  • @dofco3227

You got a job because they wanted to hire a woman

  • @truthinc.5555

…once you are processed into the system and scheduled for orientation you'll most likely be asked for you school degree info. most companies will let you go once they realize you don't have the degree required for the job.

  • @animateddepression

My resume goes into bid packages regularly and all projects require a “minimum” of an Engineering degree, preferably a Masters, for my position. Haven’t been rejected yet.

  • @NavigatorBRC

A candidate with a degree would’ve probably gotten $120k for the same position. It’s a double edge sword though

  • @PeterHughes-er7nq

She’s right, I finished high school and immediately became a brain surgeon at 16

  • @Montu4g63

This is very true in tech, every position I've held for the past 10 years requires a degree in the listing…yet I have none and have been compensated 100k + (some times more than my degree holding co workers)

  • @mattw7926

This is an exception to the rule. Possibly other factors at play.

  • Anonymous

You don’t have to take those requirements seriously. They are more a guideline, they don’t mean too much. If you want to work as a software engineer, build an app. If you want a job as a director, make a movie. If you want to get a job as an artist, draw something. If you want to become body builder, go to the gym. Etc. Degrees are way overhyped, they don’t work and they are loosing relevance FAST. There has never been easier access to education than it is today. Take advantage of it. Thing out of the box and most importantly, don’t talk about things, DO things!

  • @VibinWithRunnTheSnowman

19:20 Lmao the pure hypocrisy. Their is zero love in her videos. She clearly is very spiteful she was cut off and have subtly insulted her daughter every video. She never takes accountability nor dives into her daughters perspective. Narcissistic truly project how THEY FEEL but acuse others of feeling that way.

  • @VibinWithRunnTheSnowman

19:00 Narcissist truly operate from the same playbook. This statement reveals Dianie thinks shes pleasant to be around and her daughter will miss her. They truly think they are great because they exist not because of actions. When children cut off their parents it was typically a very hard decision and once theyve came to it they dont care if their parent passes away. The narcissistic parent thinks they will be missed still. Senior homes are filled with elders who never get visits.

  • @VibinWithRunnTheSnowman

18:10 A healthy parent who went through this would be willing to sit down and admit faults without blaming the other person immediately also, be willing to go to therapy, take what their child says seriously, be willing to change behaviorsm its astounding narcissist twist being cut off to they are RANDOMLY cut off for no reason meanwhile she got a huge letter saying she manipulates and gaslights

  • @VibinWithRunnTheSnowman

Every Narcissist ive known has this " dont live in the past mentality" but the truth is they are ALWAYS in the past. If you do something terrible back to them they never let it go. They also never change their behvaiors so the past is the present. When narcissistic say dont live in the past their translation means = if i do terrible things to others they must always forgive me and let me cross their boundadies so I dont have to change or take accountability, and them feeling disrespected by whatever I did is the problem. Its never what I did is the problem

  • @VibinWithRunnTheSnowman

12:00 Exactly. Going no contact to toxic people (Narcissist) to a narcissist means you are this full of random rage person instesd of you must remove toxic people who refuse to self-reflect. How distant narcissistic are from reality is truly astounding

  • @VibinWithRunnTheSnowman

12:00 How narcissistic project OTHERS are so angry is truly astounding. Dianie admitted to being resentful her daughter cut her off. Dianies daughter is just moving on in life smart enough to know you shouldnt be around toxic people. Narcissistic view the world as very black and white so if you arent around someone you are just VERY FURIOUS EVERYDAY breaking things. But the truth is Dianie is actually very angry. Narcissistic think others have uncontrollable emotions like them and do things out of emotions compared to logic like them.

  • @VibinWithRunnTheSnowman

10:00 Its hilarious how narcissistic parents think having s** was for THEIR CHILD it certainly wasnt because it feels good unprotected. 😂😂 Dianie totally didnt have a child to get narcissistic supply from her child nooooo it was because she was sooo nice. Narcissistic are so manipulate its truly disgusting.

  • @jadedandbitter

*As long as you have an XX chromosome, or appear like you do, you don't need a degree.

  • @SC2Edu

I got a $500k tech job without a degree, it’s not that uncommon in the field to not have a degree
