Step 1: save up and make sure you have enough funding for school
My ADN program was 18 months and had all prerequisites included in that timeframe. Crazy, but here I am, just passed my NCLEX-RN!!
Nowadays, there are bridge programs for LVNs to become an RN. It used to be LVN to RN. Now, it's LVN to BSN.
If you have a bachelors already you can go the ABSN route. It only takes 12-15 months
