Hello everyone,
Last Saturday 11/11/2023, my family and i went to eat at a restaurant in a shopping gallery and saw there was an open bazaar/market happening right in front of the shopping gallery. There were so many booths selling preloved items and other stuff, among the booths that we saw were booths of a vape company named “*Lost Mary*”. As we were about to walk out of the the bazaar/market area, a young promoter from that vape brand approaches my 11 year old daughter asking her “would you like to try our vape?” While holding out the brand’s flyer.
As a parent, i am not only angered by this incident, i am furious and frustrated. Is this what our world has come to?! Is this what Malaysia has come to??!! I’ve heard stories of primary school kids bringing vapes to school, as if that’s not crazy enough! Now we have vape companies (namely Lost Mary*) openly operating in *public markets and bazaars approaching people and engaging with them asking them to try out *smoking*??!!
