Do you think chemical engineering is worth all that work???!

Here’s a clip from my video on the hardest engineering degrees. Watch here: https://youtu.be/u3bLj6mooSM Not all engineering …

He is lying not 40 hours per it's 60 hours per week😅😅

  • @ThatOneGuyCJ

As a junior who hates homework and struggles with it but really wants to be a chemical engineer… College js gonna suck 😢

  • @ValiantStranger12

Me who picked Chem as my major cause I liked mixing sh*t together: Task failed successfully?🙃🙃

  • @minohung6693

But you are in Southeast asia and this degree is a trash because the government and the politics do not care about improve this field 🙂

  • @chrisfitzharris7494

Honestly didnt think my ChemE degree was that hard. Perhaps thats just me as the concepts and theories made sense to me. My Chem Separations 2 class (senior level) many people said was very difficult but passed with B+ with moderate effort. Anyways my first job salary was 72k in 2020

  • @AngelOsorio_627

What specialization do you recommend for chemical engineering: biotechnology, energy, sustainability or materials?

  • @tpwk9

Okayyy at this point i don't whom to listen to💀💀most people are saying that the field os dying out and that its hard getting a job😭whom should i listen to.i really wanted to do it at Undergrad but if it's hard getting a job after then it's not worth it

  • @theinfoguyhere

Job opportunities and versatility undo pinne job growth etraya compare to last years

  • @owlised

Im doing chemistry A levels hopefully. Any advice?

  • @shahryarkhan962

kindly tell me is there any benefit to doing ADVANCE CHEMICAL ENGIEERING (MSC)?
    rather work at a plant

  • @FloridaZoe305

I have a chemical engineering degree and I work 2 jobs while getting my degree and I still remember the nights I cried because of how hard it was (graduated 2019) would I do it again? FUCK NO!!! Was it work it? FUCK YES!!! I’m very happy I thug it out!! I’m making really good money and couldn’t be anymore happier!!!

  • @0318kent

Where does it say that the outlook is 14%?

  • @dj_b1627

I spend 10-12 hours every week, so way more than 40 hours.

  • @jakoblindelof92

Engineering was not worth it. Difficult and saturated market.

  • @jeeptoe

I’m in high school and really have learned I have a passion for science. Chemistry in particular. Thinking about studying this after school.

  • @boredpeep

Damn… I make more than that a year as a plumber and I didn’t need to study THAT hard…

  • @p0fity882

More than 40 hours a week lol, those are rookie numbers friend

  • @AshlyThomas-hy6qu

Civil engineering or chemical engineering? Which one is easy y'all?

  • @brendanmeyer1613

honestly not enough pay for how diffcult the degree is (as a chemE major). you could easily make double that in comp sci, and you basically need to be good at comp sci for ChemE anyways (in my school). Many highschool teachers make 80k and get 4 months vacation a year. And with a chemE degree you have a high chance of making around the same without nearly the hour flexibility, even if you made 120k, hourly it would work out the the same as a teacher in some stated. Plus not nearly the same job security as teachers. Industrial engineering is way easier and more job security. Or comp sci or data science. Would do those if i got the opportunity to do it over again. (Plus the extra curriculars for engineering you need as a student to bulk up your resume is like you’re going to med school or something)

  • @djiwaindahraidalhadi7261

Watching this make me proud of being chemeng student. But after grafuation i am giving up and ended up as a mom.

  • @hkar4385

One of the most misunderstood degrees

  • @screencut67

My brother just rejected chemical engineering in the best engeenering college in India(IIT bombay)….. And took computer engeenering in IIT ROORKEE

  • @mrchad3287

In india, chemical engineering is considered as a waste of a degree and useless, thank you explaining it !!

  • @MOH0405

I'm going through it, i will take the CEME introductory courses next semester, i wish you good luck my colleagues 💪

  • @alstonfernandes3581

I know from my friends 😂 electrical and electronics engineering is damm difficult 😂😂

  • @senatorbrogle

I was told chemical engineering was ridiculously easy but that was in contrast to electrical engineering physics and math majors

  • @haric300

My major is going to be chemical engineering

  • @soulseeker1651

Hell no it aint worth it. Unless you want to live in a shit hole.
