we need asylums brought back…just w better care, & treat the pts like humans. we have far too many mentally ill ppl with NOWHERE to get help. the few facilities open now can be extremely hard to get into…its sad seeing so many suffer these days, a lot of them living on the streets, quite a few who are also addicted to drugs.

I grew up in Maryland, and I was in Crownsville mental hospital for one year. But this is not the same hospital.
Okay, so electric "shock therapy" is just a lesser version of the electric chair.
It is getting worse… again
There are no funds to open up these big hospitals anymore. These little mental health office's that they have now have barely enough funds to stay open now.
If anyone has mental health challenges like anxiety or depression and more, look into cutting out all grains and dairy from your diet, see if you're heavy metal or mold toxic or have parasites and lack of vitamins and minerals.

We pass this hospital on our way to Renn Fest every year. It’s in Maryland. The hospital has this haunting presence that no matter how many times I’ve seen it, it always makes me shiver.
