  • @donharris8846

Considering this, how would any brokering or middlemanning work with govt contracting?

  • @sikskillz2186

Sub contractor for uhauling and removal. how can i get the projects from people with these contracts?

  • @davonvideoz7609

Straight misinformation people like you shouldn’t have a YouTube account I’m up 10 million in contracts and didn’t have to move a finger. Well I had to type proposals

  • @paulhaag8839

I will do the work I know how to do, which is work as a courier but would still need to subcontract it out and find management advisors

  • @rayp4986

You can do all the paperwork though.

  • @learning1646

  • @realtalktina

I Dont understand some people Dont even live in the same state as there contract and never went to train laying concrete (for example) they are just the middleman how can you say that they have to do some of the work????

  • @xiorbs6760

Services (except construction), it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. When a contract includes both services and supplies, the 50 percent limitation shall apply only to the service portion of the contract

So a set aside can subcontract out to a set aside 50% or more of the work to satisfy this limitation ❤

  • @JUICYTBONE

There has to be some form of representation from the Prime .

  • @Phil83933

    Project managing considered work right?

  • @JCM289

if you pay yourself 20% of the contract then you meet that regulation. I.E. "Project Management Fee"

  • @KhadijahChampion-ei5bx

this doesn't sound correct especially when there are many people who have won contracts and never set foot in the state, and in some cases, its not even their level of expertise.. for example one person one a sheering of sheeps, other medical lab work, etc.,

  • @SA-rs5pl

So then why are all these gurus pushing the GovCon middleman and broker possibilities.

  • @merchant297

He lied. If the contract value is less than $250K, you can subcontract 100%.

  • @QueenObio

That’s now what I was told. But okay

  • @ihavjoy3139

Ummm, if I live in Michigan and there is a contract in W. Virginia for lawn service, I absolutely can sub contact out to a lawn service in W. Virginia. I literally watched one of his videos where work was sub contracted out. I was unsure until I saw a testimonial from HIS VIDEO it makes no sense to think you can make millions from just contracting where you lay your head🤷🤦

  • @sidwilson1966

    only applies to executive agency
    (1) Executive agency .— The term “executive agency” means an executive department or independent establishment in the executive branch of the Federal Government, including a wholly owned Government corporation.

there are specific instances where subcontracting 100% of the work might be permissible under certain conditions, such as:

    1. Services under a contract can be subcontracted in instances where the agency specifically authorizes subcontracting arrangements. This might occur in specialized fields where the prime contractor can demonstrate that the subcontractor has unique expertise or capabilities that the prime contractor lacks.
    2. When the prime contractor provides added value through project management, oversight, or other specific services. Even if the physical work is subcontracted, the prime contractor must still fulfill a significant role in terms of management and coordination.
    3. For supplies or products, the prime contractor may act as a dealer or reseller. In such cases, the prime contractor’s role might be primarily to procure items from a manufacturer or supplier to fulfill government requirements.

The relevant sections of the FAR that discuss limitations on subcontracting and the circumstances under which extensive subcontracting might be allowed include:

    • FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting. This clause specifies the extent to which a contractor may subcontract work under contracts that have been set aside or awarded under preference programs for small businesses. It generally requires that a certain percentage of the work be performed by the prime contractor, although the specific requirements vary depending on the type of contract and the industries involved.
    • FAR 19.505, The Rule of Two for Small Business Set-Asides. While not directly about subcontracting, this rule impacts how contracts are awarded and can influence subcontracting plans.
    • FAR 44, Subcontracting Policies and Procedures. This part provides guidance on the overall management of subcontracting, including considerations for consent to subcontract.

These sections provide a framework for understanding the rules around subcontracting but may require further interpretation based on specific contract circumstances or agency guidelines. It’s important for contractors to consult with their contracting officer or legal advisor to understand how these regulations apply to their specific situation.
