Accreditation or not, I don't think It really matters. If you don't want to work in the NHS it doesn't matter whether it's accredited or not. Even then if you did want to work in the NHS, you could easily do an STP.
Hi Atousa! I'm studying biomedical science with foundation in Westminster university. I love medicine and unfortunately I wasn't able to study it as I did not meet the entry requirement since I'm an international student. However I looked at NEW CASTLE university website and found out that they actually can transfer students from the first year of biomed to medicine ( this is highly competitive) instead of the GradMed program. But, Bad news! Biomed in New Castle is not accredited by the biomed institute. And omg you can't imagine how much I'm suffering from stress and panic and overthinking. I'm just tired of thinking and trying to make up my mind again and again. Can you please help me Atousa. Do you think studying an accredited course is very necessary in order to work in the NHS ( in case if I graduated with a biomed degree)? And do you recommend studying in New Castle and follow its route to medicine? ( PS, I'm not smart but I try to work hard) . Finlay I have watched almost all of your videos and probably know a lot about your academic career. Good luck with your medical studies.
Hi, could you please explain to me what is IBMS. As I am gonna start 3 years of Biomedical science in London Metroplotican University. And later I am thinking of doing masters.
So when do I have to do IBMS as everyone is saying you have to do that to get a job later. Thanks
Can you go over what non accreditid vs accredited means?
What did u get at a level ? Xx
What is it calles to creat medicine, as in going what if we try this to cure this or improve this drug. I want to do stuff like that but I don't know what the jobs are called and what education to get, would be really cool and nice of you to respond 😀
thank you atousa for this informative video. you have been talking about biomedical sciences programme a lot , and they are very helpful guidance for my application too. but could you please also explain the work placement and overseas studying programs in the second and third year of undergraduate? I am curious in those option but i am not sure how they work.
Loved this!
Hello Atousa. I am 18 years old and I must chose my university. I would like to pursue medical biochemistry, but I'm not really sure as to which jobs I will be able to do after I've finished the university. I would love to work on some kind of disease research, but I don't know if that's even possible with my bachelors only… Please let me know if I can talk to you in private via email or something it would really help me out! Much love xoxo
Interesting 😃😃😄
Thanks. This video is very useful 😁. Keep up the good effort
