Agreed. I would also say economics. Which is why I double majored in accting & economics which really helped open doors in finance and business

It’s limiting. A finance degree can still switch and be an accountant and still qualify for 30 other job titles.

The fact that CPA force you to take accounting course for preparation just to get in the program, make it worth i guess.
It might be. But unless you get a big 4 audit job out of college. Expect doing tax preparation for small businesses your whole career
